After struggling with chronic fatigue, pain, digestive dysfunction, and anxiety for over nine years, I could not longer accept that my only answer was more medication to mask my symptoms, so I decided to take charge of my health. I became a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) and have been able to take a holistic approach to bring healing and restoration to my body. As a result, I have eliminated all the chronic symptoms of my Hashimoto's Thyroiditis.
My science heavy background, personal experience and understanding of auto-immune disorders, love of cooking, knowledge of nutrition & human physiology, and holistic lifestyle practices allows me to help clients make lasting improvements in their health and wellbeing.
On the personal side, I live in Minneapolis with my husband and our three wonderful children. I completed the Nutritional Therapy Practitioner program with the Nutritional Therapy Association (A Cornerstone Member of the American Nutrition Association), graduated from Virginia Tech with a BA in Chemistry and a BS in Biology in 2001, and hold a MA in Teaching secondary education. I love to cook, practice yoga, crochet, and walk my labradoodle.
